SAE J429 GRADE 5 black finish with hex nut 7/16 clipped head plow bolt
Plow bolts are used to mechanically connect items which need a flush surface. They are commonly used with heavy equipment such as snow plows. Use in combination with a nut of the same thread and material. The elliptical head design makes these bolts ideal for use on heavy equipment or machinery such as snow plows and scoop shovels where a clean, smooth finish is desired on a curved surface. Parts are made from grade 5 tempered steel for superior durability. The black phosphate finish adds moderate corrosion resistance.
